<\/a><\/p>\nDriving to town let’s see you they’re doing on the road up to the Las Brisas barrio. It’s actually a pretty steep incline and one of the more exciting major thoroughfares to navigate, thanks to the traditionally deep ruts, muchas piedras grandes and outright small canyons. But someone’s brother-in-law did a favor for a local pol and now the road is being paved for the first time. At least that’s what I heard… Stopping by El Molino this little guy comes into view, a day brightener for sure. And when it’s time for lonche in el centro, Elouisa conveniently appears with her tray of tortas; perfecto con Coca. Meanwhile down at the end of the block, males of all ages, shapes and sizes congregate by the helado cart. As the waxing moon rises over Construrama. I’m saddened to learn that Red went missing at El Cerritos beach the other day. If I find him it’s worth 70 bucks. Will have to stop back tomorrow to check out Cedric’s shop: Smile of the Dead. This big palapa on the huge hill just south of town – recently given the fashionable name of El Mirador, the viewpoint – now serves dinner and drinks while providing a fine setting for Euromodels to practice their poses.
