Young and old have come out to show support, as Vail officials meet with PC council members inside.

The charismatic ex-mayor has lots to say on the topic, and it makes lots of sense to the people.

The resort’s previous owner, Powdr Corp., applied for the trademark just before Vail bought out their interest in 2014.

ALthough Vail inherited Powdr Corp.’s application, the issue came to a head only recently as Williams and other old-timers publicized the initiative.

All over town, locals scratched their heads and wondered how this hallowed name could possibly hijacked.
